Criteria for Induction

Both men and women, amateurs and professionals, are evaluated by the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame Board of Directors based on one or more of the following categories of performance:

  1. Playing ability and record (local, state, national);
  2. Teaching ability and results (professional only);
  3. Administration and/or working within the game (includes Promotion and Staging);
  4. Golf Course Architects;
  5. Superintendents;
  6. Media

To be selected for induction, a nominee must receive the affirmative vote of 67% of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors.

Nomination Form

​To nominate someone for induction, you can use email or regular mail:

EMAIL:

  1. Download and complete the nomination form (it is interactive, just fill in the fields specified).
  2. Scan any additional information that you feel will be helpful in supplementing this form, such as news clippings, magazine articles, promotional pieces, and a MAXIMUM of three letters of recommendation.
  3. Email to jon.d.rizzi@gmail.com no later than August 31st.

MAIL:

  1. Download, print and complete the nomination form.
  2. Please attach any additional information that you feel will be helpful, such as news clippings, magazine articles, promotional pieces, and a MAXIMUM of three letters of recommendation. (Do not send originals, as they will not be returned.)
